The Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby has been visiting Mablethorpe today (Thursday), as part of a huge religious event being held in the resort.

The Rt Rev Justin Welby, enthroned as the 105th Archbishop of Canterbury in March this year, was one of the keynote speakers at the HTB Focus Week 2013 which is being hosted at Haven’s Golden Sands Holiday Park.

The Archbishop made the national news last week when he declared war on the payday loan company ‘Wonga’.

There are unconfirmed reports that TV adventurer Bear Grylls was also in the resort as part of the Focus Week on Monday.
