IF YOU want to make new friends, achieve awards and badges, enjoy outdoor fun and games then why not join the 1st Louth Beavers.
The Beavers is the first exciting step to be taken into the Scouting family and is aimed specifically at both boys and girls aged between six and eight-years-old. Although you are able to join up to three months before your sixth birthday.
Easily recognised by their distinctive turquoise sweatshirts, the Beavers’ activities are based around making things, outdoor activities, singing, playing games and taking part in a variety of visits and sleepovers.
The Beavers also investigate nature, tell stories, learn how to play safe and most importantly have the opportunity to make new friends.
If you think becoming a Beaver is the right move for you go down to Cannon Street House and join them.
They meet every Monday evening from 5.30pm until 6.45pm.
As well as the Beavers, the Cubs are also on the look out for new recruits.
They again meet every Monday at Cannon Street House from 6.45pm until 8pm which is aimed at boys and girls aged between the years of eight to ten.
