ADI and Emma Graves of the Cross Roads Inn, East Barkwith, are hosting a weekend Beer Festival at the pub beginning on Thursday September 8 from 7.30pm with Batemans Meet the Brewer evening featuring ten real ales and merchandising offers.
Food will be available too and the festival continues on Friday September 9 when all the beers will still be available and diners who wish will be able to sample a selection of real ales including Black Cheep, Old Speckled Hen, Lincolnshire Imp and Graftors. On Saturday September 10 live music for the festival will be provided by Diva Strop and Slimline Poppas with beers from four Lincolnshire Breweries and some well known favourites will be available.
There will be food from the barbecue available all day and to add to the fun for customers there will giant games and inflatables including a bouncy castle with face painting too to keep the children happily occupied. The pub will be open as usual on Sunday September 11 and if there are any festival beers remaining they will be available at discounted prices.
