June 2016 may seem a long way off, but the Zero Degrees festival committee is already in the early stages of planning next year’s event.
Chairman Alan Mumby said: “We were delighted with this year’s festival, particularly since we went into it on a wing and a prayer, following the demise of the Town Partnership. Local businesses and councillors were really supportive, and so were the people of Louth, who turned out in their thousands over the three weeks to enjoy dance, comedy, music and more.”
The festival steering group are keen to get feedback from the many organisations that hold events during the festival, and they are hosting a meeting on Wednesday, September 30, at the King’s Head hotel in Mercer Row, starting at 8pm.
Alan Mumby added: “Anyone and everyone is welcome. It would be great to have people coming along with new ideas.
“There’s a lot of work involved in putting on a festival, and if the people of Louth want to see Zero Degrees grow to something that we can all be proud of, we need their help.”
