Bigger and better: Lidl re-opens in Mablethorpe

Lidl has re-opened its doors to customers in Mablethorpe this morning (Thursday), at a grand ceremony attended by the Mayor and the Town Crier.

The original store had been knocked down, and the new, bigger store was built in its place to cater for the high demand in the town.

Ten additional jobs have been brought into the area thanks to the expanded store.

Lidl UK’s regional head of property, Colin Rimmer, said: “We would like to thank all those who have played a part in improving our Lidl store in Mablethorpe. “It is brilliant for us to be able to create more jobs and investment opportunities in the area.

“We can’t wait to start serving our multi-award winning products to the local community once again.”

The new supermarket forms part of the company’s on-going expansion and regeneration plans in the UK.
