CHILDREN in Years 5 and 6 from Saltfleetby and Theddlethorpe Primary Schools took part in Bikeability, the national cycle proficiency programme.
The children worked on the school playground and also the rural roads around Theddlethorpe school.
Adrian Sanders, executive headteacher at Theddlethorpe and Saltfleetby schools, said: “This is a very important element in the schools’ efforts to promote safety. The children enjoyed their days in the saddle, with many achieving both Bikeability Level 1 and Level 2.
“The schools are very grateful to staff from the Wolds School Sport Partnership who delivered the two day training.”
