Age UK also offers information and advice 365 days a year and older people and their families can call Age UK Advice free on 0800 1696565. Alternatively they can contact the Age UK Lindsey Information and Advice team on 01507 355961.
The staff at Barclays Bank are also getting involved. Employees from branches including Alford and Mablethorpe and Spilsby will be holding a Wear a Woollie to Work Day and fundraising.
Philippa Haresign, Chief Executive of Age UK Lindsey, said: “Our Information and Advice Officers visit people’s homes to offer guidance and support, so often the work we are doing in this area of East Lindsey goes unnoticed. Barclays support Age UK nationally, so it is great to be able to link up locally in East Lindsey to work together to support older vulnerable people in our area.”
