BREAKING NEWS: ‘Explosions’ heard during fire at ambulance station on Louth industrial estate

There are unconfirmed reports of explosions being heard during a fire at an ambulance station on the Fairfield Industrial Estate tonight (Tuesday).

Four crews from Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue have been at NSL Care Services in Warwick Road since earlier this evening.

The building houses a number of ambulance and is believed to have been severely damaged by the blaze.

“Explosion heard and felt on industrial estate, people saying the windows shook,” said one onlooker.

It is unclear what started the fire but nobody has been injured.

“Several ambulances are contained within the building. Firefighters are using breathing apparatus and hose reels to extinguish,” said a spokesperson for the fire service.
