A teenage motorist who faces charges following a double fatal crash is to face trial in front of a jury later this year.

Aron Kenneth Baker,18, of Steeping Court, Ermine West in Lincoln, appeared before Lincoln Crown Court today (Friday, March 13) when he denied two charges of causing death by careless driving on the A1104 at Snape Hill near Alford, on April 18, 2014.

16-year-old Matthew Ellis from Lincoln and Jean Thomas,aged 70, from Mablethorpe both died in the collision.

Judge John Pini QC adjourned the hearing for trial at the Crown Court in August and granted unconditional bail to Baker.
