The flood marker on the Old Mill in Bridge Street has now been restored, having controversially been plastered over without planning permission earlier this year.

The covered flood marker (pictured) was the subject of an investigation by East Lindsey District Council’s Planning Enforcement Team over the summer after many residents took to social media to express their dismay, claiming that it was disrespectful to the 23 people who lost their lives in the Great Flood of 1920.
