The dates for next year’s SO Festival have been announced.
The event, which traditionally runs across East Lindsey before climaxing in Skegness, will run from Saturday, June 28 to Sunday, July 6.
The East Lindsey District Council-organised festival of arts, culture and sport has grown in popularity, and orgnisers are promising that next “will be no different”.
More details will be announced early next year when the programme of events, is finalised.
The council’s Portfolio Holder for Culture, Leisure and Tourism, Cllr Adam Grist, said: “This year’s SO Festival included new and exciting projects across the district, such as Horncastle’s Enchanted Town, and saw the Wimbledon Final screened live on Skegness beach and International cricket in Louth.
“The ongoing success of the Festival is down to the great support we receive from Arts Council England and local organisations who recognise the benefits it delivers for East Lindsey.
“Next year we hope to deliver another successful festival that provides something great for local people to enjoy, be involved in and importantly boosts the economy of East Lindsey by bringing people to the area and providing a great opportunity to promote the area far and wide,” he added.
The 2013 festival was supported by Arts Council England and Centrica.
SO Festival is one of a number of events taking place across East Lindsey as part of East Lindsey Live.
