Get Prince’s Trust business support

A beauty therapist who has launched her own business in Louth with support from The Prince’s Trust hopes that more local young people will be encouraged to take the helm of their own business enterprise.

Jade Todd was unemployed when she approached the charity seeking support to start her own business.

This led to the launch of Beauty by Jade after taking part in The Prince’s Trust Enterprise programme and receiving a grant and business mentor. Jade, who has an NVQ in Beauty Therapy, now works from a treatment room at her home in Louth.

Jade said: “The Prince’s Trust helped me to put together a business plan as well as building my self confidence. I now have opportunities to network with other businesses and receive regular support from my mentor.

“I cannot thank The Prince’s Trust enough for their help and guidance and would advise anyone that is thinking of starting up their own business to get in touch with them.”

The next free Prince’s Trust Explore Enterprise workshop will be at the Louth Enterprise Centre from Monday June 17 to Thursday June 20. The workshop will teach unemployed young people aged 18 to 30 the basics about setting up in business. To register for a place call Trudy on 07808 717468 or email trudy.roberts@princes-trust.org.uk.
