PEOPLE looking for a job can get help at a Skills, Advice and Guidance Fair taking place in Louth on Wednesday March 7.
It is at the Trinity Centre in Eastgate between 10am and 2pm and will provide support to local people trying to get back into work or those looking to develop new skills.
Workshops will run alongside stalls with information about vacancies, volunteering and vocational training. The workshops will focus on completing job application forms, including online forms, interview skills, where to go to volunteer and advice on energy bills and money matters.
The fair has been organised by East Lindsey District Council in partnership with Excellent Aging Lincs, The Job Centre Plus, Development Plus, Lincolnshire Coop, South Lincolnshire Community and Voluntary Services and The Deanery of Louthesk.
Peta Hill, Community Worker in Louthesk Deanery, said: “We will have specific information available for the over 50s who are considering going back to work or want to expand their expertise. Over 15 organisations are booked to attend the day, so there will be something for everyone.”
