Forty-one volunteers from Lincolnshire Co-op have returned to Hubbard’s Hills, having helped out on five different occasions to restore the Louth beauty spot. On this occasion, staff volunteers cut back laurel trees to clear pathways and river banks, as well as clearing branches and debris from the river to help keep it flowing freely and reduce the risk of flooding.

Mayor of Louth and Chair of Trustees, Andrew Leonard, said: “The contribution that the Co-operative staff has made with their regular volunteering efforts is invaluable.”
