Newbridge Hill in Louth currently has a number temporary road closures in place until Friday February 13.

The closures will allow for current demolition of the Malt Kiln building by Transport Potential and Aldi Stores Ltd.

Demolition of Louth's Malt Kiln enters its final stage.

A diversion route via Ramsgate, Victoria Road and Keddington Road is in place during the closures, and access to properties will continue to be available although there may be some inconvenience during the works.

The closures are in place as and when required, with signage detailing accurate dates and times on display in advance.

Lincolnshire County Council’s Area Highways Manager, Dean Myhill said: “Although these works are being carried out by other parties and not by the county council, we still recognise the importance of giving local people as much notice as possible.

“Due to the type of work being undertaken, and for the safety of both drivers and workers, it’s necessary to close the road while work is carried out.”
