They can carve anything out of wood - from a small squirrel to a full sized motorbike and rider!
Now local company Xtreme Chainsaw Ltd has been given a boost by Peacock and Binnington. Scott Steenvoorden, Service Manager at the Louth branch, thought it was only natural for the two companies to come together.
Peacock and Binnington, one of the leading suppliers of the Stihl range in Lincolnshire, has donated a new MS150 saw with a 10 inch bar which will be used for the finishing work on the amazing chainsaw carvings done by Xtreme. The company is owned by Simon Bogg and Adele Dunham. Their work can be seen at the Splash pub in Little Cawthorpe. Simon said: “We have always used the quality Stihl range for carrying out our work. The quality of the brand gives us peace of mind that we have a saw capable of meeting the demands of both larger cuts through to the finer intricate detail of the carvings. We are currently too busy to undertake any of our former servicing or sharpening work so we now trust all of our saws to Peacock & Binnington as their customer service, knowledge and prices are unbeatable.”
Scott said: “When the opportunity came up to help Simon and Adele with a donation of the MS150 and to become the main supplier of Stihl products for Xtreme Chainsaw I saw it as a great advert for the great quality range we sell. What better way to showcase the saws in the hands of such a gifted craftsman such as Simon?”
