Louth residents with local issues can raise them with their ward representatives at Louth Town Council’s annual meeting on Tuesday night.
The annual town meeting, although convened and hosted by the town council, is not an official meeting of councillors but will report from the mayor on the year’s past activities.
The mayor, Coun Jill Makinson-Sanders, will also discuss financial matters but the meeting is intended as a forum for residents of Louth to raise and discuss issues.
Residents attending can call for a vote on any subject and items resolved upon will be brought to the attention of Louth Town Council for its consideration.
The meeting will also feature an update from Louth in Bloom, Louth Town Partnership and the Zero Degrees Festival and will be held in the Old Court Room at The Sessions House, Louth on Tuesday, May 14 from 7pm.
