A charity bike ride organised in memory of Mablethorpe woman Fiona Bearman to raise funds for Mablethorpe RNLI and The Epilepsy Action Sunflower Tribute Fund has seen around £1,000 donated.

Seven people took part in the 100km charity ride including Rick Bearman, Jack Stevenson, David and James Hesling, Lindsey Stuart, Peter Thomas and Peter Mills. Janine and Andy Stones also went to the half way point with the group.

Rick said: “The ride went brilliantly and we completed it in just over four hours with several stops along the way, which included refreshments at Batemans Brewery in Wainfleet. I would just like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has support this event and we will be back taking on another cycling challenge next year.”
