Charity day is a great success

THE Lincoln & Lindsey Blind Society Cup second Annual Charity Golf Tournament was held at Kenwick Park Golf Club.

Julie Baines, Fundraising Manager for the Society, said: “Sponsors of the event have been extremely generous in lieu of the current economic climate. Without the help of sponsors, teams and the generosity of Kenwick Park Golf Club staff, this type of event would not be possible and we, at the society, are extremely grateful”.

A major sponsor of the event and supporter of the society was accountancy firm Forrester Boyd who were celebrating their 75th year in operation. Forrester Boyd celebrated by holding a number of events to raise money for local charities.

Steve Czornyj, Senior Partner of Forrester Boyd, who is based at the Louth office, presented a cheque for £500 to Julie Baines during the golf day.
