A YEAR eight student at Cordeaux School came a respectable runner-up in the secondary school category of the Max Respect Art Competition.
Students were asked to design posters to encourage safe and orderly bus travel.
All year eight pupils at the school were asked to design a poster for homework and the best one was then selected to be entered into the competiton.
Jessica Cotton was presented with a framed copy of her prize-winning artwork and received £30 in gift vouchers.
The official presenation of the awards was at a special prize giving ceremony which was held at the Council Chambers in Lincoln.
