ACCESS to councillors could become easier after Mablethorpe officials held their first meeting under a new scheme of working between wards.

Following May’s elections, Couns Graham Cullen, Tony Howard and Paddy Prince have teamed up to alleviate past problems of boundaries between wards preventing getting access to the right councillor.

The trio held their first drop-in session on Saturday, July 9 and spent the whole two hour meeting engaging in discussions with members of the public, the meetings could now take place once a month.
