Couple awarded for 10 years fundraising

A fundraising couple from Fotherby have been awarded for their efforts after spending the last 10 years opening their garden up to raise money for charity.

Bob and Ann Armstrong, based at the Woodlands in Fotherby, received a ‘Commemorative Trowel’ from Sally Grant, County organiser for the National Gardens Scheme when they opened up their garden at Easter. They have been working alongside the NGS for well over 10 years and have raised thousands of pounds for caring and garden related charities including, Marie Curie Cancer Care and Macmillan nurses.
