£2,800 of heroin was found inside Mablethorpe woman’s underwear

A woman was found with heroin in her underwear after police stopped a car she was driving, Lincoln Crown Court heard.

Phil Howes, prosecuting, said Kay Nixon, who was driving towards Mablethorpe, was stopped just outside Legbourne.

Nixon said she was given the drugs by a man to look after when she reached Wragby and hid them inside her knickers.

Police found 54.45gs of the drug with a street value of £2,800, which Mr Howes said were ‘destined for the street’.

Nixon, 46, of Parry Road, Mablethorpe, admitted possession of drugs with intent to supply on March 28 2012 and was given a 15 month jail sentence suspended for a year with 12 months’ supervision.

Judge Michael Heath said the probation report showed Nixon to be ‘weak and vulnerable’ but added that she had ‘conquered’ her addiction to drugs.
