BIRCHAM NEWTON: Boy, 14, accused of sex assault
A teenage boy was accused of sexually touching a nine-year-old girl when he appeared at Lynn Youth Court on Tuesday.
The 14-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, faced two charges of sexually assaulting a girl under 13 at Bircham Newton, and a third charge of a more serious sexual assault on a girl under 13, in Northern Cyprus.
He is also faces a fourth charge of sexually assaulting a woman aged 16 or over in Cyprus.
The case was sent to Norwich Youth Court for a preliminary hearing on November 9.
The boy was released on conditional bail until then.
