BREAKING NEWS: Body of man discovered on Skegness beach

A man’s body has been discovered today on the beach at Skegness.

Police were called to an area North of Gibraltar Point, Skegness, at 11.50am this morning (Thursday) after a man’s body was discovered on the beach by a local birdwatcher.

The body has been in the water and it is too early to confirm if the body is that of missing man, David Le-Man.

A police and Coroner’s investigation will now take place and it may be a few days before further information is available.

Several witnesses in ther area had been reporting ‘lots of ambulances, coastguards and police’ in the area, early this afternoon.

Coastguard sector manager for Lincolnshire Sam Jessop confirmed she and her crew had just finished an operation (at around 2pm), but was unable to release further details.

More information will follow as we get it.
