Craig Joseph Chappell, 28, of Keddington Road, Louth, is set to face a jury trial at Lincoln Crown Court on February 13.
Chappell allegedly punched a man in North Holme Road, Louth, on January 16 last year, causing facial injuries and fracturing his eye socket. He is charged with inflicting grievous bodily harm.
Chappell pleaded not guilty at Skegness Magistrates’ Court on Friday (January 30), and the court then directed that the case should be dealt with through a jury trial at Crown Court.
Chappell has been granted unconditional bail.
