Mablethorpe man charged with robbery of man with learning difficulties

A man has been charged with a the robbery of a man with learning difficulties in Mablethorpe.

Phillips Gino Jesney (25), of Victoria Road, Mablethorpe, has been charged with the robbery in Seacroft Road on February 2.

The 35 year-old man with learning difficulties was waiting for a bus on Seacroft Road in February when he was approached by a man, who demanded his phone.

The offender punched the victim and then stole the phone, a white Nokia Lumia 720, before running off along Seacroft Road towards the High Street.

Jesney will appear before Skegness Magistrates’ Court on July 5.
