Man is robbed in Mablethorpe

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was robbed for his cigarettes in Mablethorpe on Tuesday.

The 47 year old was walking his dog on the grass verge of Quebec Road around 7.40am on when he was approached by four male youths. They aggressively demanded his cigarettes and threatened him with violence.

After being given the cigarettes, the offenders walked off along Quebec Road towards the town centre, crossing the wooden footbridge at the bottom of Sherwood Road and then past the Girl Guides hut.

The youths were aged between 16 and 18 and the main offender was approximately 5’ 8” tall with brown hair and wearing a white hooded top and trainers.
