Men caught hare coursing near Grainthorpe are warned

TWO men have been served with section 59 warnings after being reported for poaching offences near Grainthorpe.

Four men were reported for offences involving five dogs on September 13.

The drivers of both vehicles were served with section 59 warnings and reported for driving otherwise than on a road.

Four members of the Operation Gallileo team assisted with the incident, as did members of the public, who called Lincolnshire Police and directed officers on the ground.

“Working as a team today has resulted in positive action being taken against organised hare coursing in our area,” said PC Ian Clark.
