North Somercotes home raided as owners sleep
POLICE are urging people to take extra care after a burglary at a North Somercotes home took place whilst the owner was in bed.
Thieves struck at the Cemetery Road property between 5am and 8am on Saturday, as the owner slept.
Entry was gained via an unlocked door and it is believed that a quantity of cash was stolen.
Anyone with information about this incident should contact Lincolnshire Police on 101 and quote incident number 117 of September 1.
“Please be very vigilant, and ensure that doors are always locked, even when you are inside your property,” said PCSO Sally Read.
