Over £5,000 worth of gardening equipment stolen during break-in in Utterby

Gardening equipment worth over £5,000 was stolen during a break-in in Chapel Lane in Utterby, near Louth, overnight on Tuesday night.

PC Kelly Palmer is appealing for information about the burglary that took place between 9pm on Tuesday, July 30 and 8am the following morning.

Thieves got into an outbuilding in Chapel Lane and stole farming and gardening equipment valued at over £5,000.

Stolen items include a theodolite and there was also an unsuccessful attempt to steal a quad bike.

Anyone with information should contact PC Palmer by dialling 101 and quoting incident number 103 of July 31.
