Police investigate alleged assault in Binbrook

Police are appealing for information after an alleged assault at Binbrook which took place on New Year’s Eve.

This incident took place at around 11pm in Market Place, Binbrook, on December 31 last year.

A 67-year-old man was allegedly struck in the face, causing an eye injury and bruising. A 39-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently on police bail pending further enquiries.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to get in touch with them as soon as possible.
