Police warning following spate of barn burglaries in Louth area

Louth police are appealing for help to track down thieves following two barn burglaries in the area yesterday, Wednesday September 2.

Three petrol strimmers, a chain saw and a pile of vehicle batteries were stolen from outbuildings in the Ludney area near North Somercotes.

In a separate burglary, which occurred in Alvingham, offenders have removed the padlock of an outbuilding and stolen items from within.

At this stage, a full list of items stolen is not available, however a Stilh petrol hedgestrimmer and strimmer are confirmed as being stolen.
