A single mother of three broke a woman’s arm after a night out in Mablethorpe, Skegness Magistrates Court heard.
Diane Wheatley, 35, of South Witham, Grantham, admitted causing GBH to Patricia Webb on November 25. Prosecuting, Marie Stace said Wheatley went out with Ms Webb and two men, but when driving home in the early hours, the two women started bickering.
When they pulled up outside one of the males homes in Grove Road, Theddlethorpe, Wheatley grabbed Ms Webb by the throat. Ms Webb pulled away, turned round and pointed at her. Wheatley then grabbed Ms Webb’s arm and caused a spiral fracture to her right arm.
Wheatley was pulled out the car by the men but held on to Ms Webb’s arm and grabbed her hair. In defence, it was said it wasn’t a sustained attack and over in 30 seconds.
The court was told Wheatley, who has no previous convictions, was a single mother of three and was her first night out in months. It heard she had little recollection of the evening. They ordered her an electronically monitored curfew for three months, to pay a victim surcharge of £60 and ordered her to pay £500 to Ms Webb.
