Two men have been arrested following a burglary at the Spar shop in Tetney yesterday, Thursday February 12.

At about 3:55am it was discovered that the security systems had been interfered with and sabotaged at the above premises. A ‘Y’ registered silver VW Golf was seen in the vicinity.

At about 11:10pm that same day a similar VW Golf was stopped in the Cleethorpes area, two men were arrested in connection with the aforementioned incident.

The two men, one aged 26 from Cleethorpes and one aged 27 from Grimsby remain in police custody.

Investigating officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed any part of the incident at the Spar Shop.

They would also like to speak to anyone who may have seen a silver VW Golf in and around Tetney at the relevant time or in suspicious circumstances in Tetney or elsewhere at any other time.
