Two men face dangerous driving charge

Two men are to face trial in front of a jury at Lincoln Crown Court after denying charges of dangerous driving and damaging property.

James Lee Pennell, 23, of Willow Court, Tattershall, and Warren Jonathan Platts, 23, of White Pitt Way, Swaby, each pleaded not guilty to two charges of dangerous driving alleged to have taken place in Louth on Boxing Day.

Both men also deny causing damage to a Vauxhall Corsa car on 10 December.

Platts denies a further charge of damaging windows and doors at a property in Edinburgh Road, Brookenby.

Pennell and Platts were each granted bail by Judge Sean Morris who adjourned the hearing for trial later this year.
