UPDATE: Police raid X-Factor star Ella Henderson’s family home in Tetney in money laundering probe

Humberside Police officers yesterday raided the family home of X-Factor star Ella Henderson in Tetney as part of a money laundering enquiry.

Two people, believed to be her parents Sean and Michelle, have been arrested as part of the enquiry.

Humberside Police, with assistance from Lincolnshire Police, descended on two properties in the village on Monday morning, arresting a 49-year-old woman.

She was was taken to Grimsby Police Station.

Later, a 47-year-old man was arrested in London by Metropolitan Police officers in connection with the same enquiry.

Ella, who now lives in London, finished sixth in last year’s ITV singing talent show The X-Factor, which later landed her a record deal.

Monday: A woman has been arrested after police executed warrants at two houses in Tetney today (Monday).

A huge police presence was reported in the area this morning as officers from Humberside Police descended on the village with assistance from Lincolnshire Police.

A 49-year-old woman was arrested at one of the addresses and has been taken to Grimsby Police Station to be questioned.

As part of the same enquiry, a 47-year-old man was arrested in London by Metropolitan Police officers in connection with the same enquiry and he will be questioned by detectives from Humberside Police.

There were also reports of police divers in the village earlier today but it is understood police have now left the scene.
