Cubs donate 60 trees to Eastfield school

EASTFIELD Infants School has received 60 trees following a generous donation from 4th Louth Cub Scouts.

The presentation was made last Tuesday evening when the cubs went along to the school to deliver the trees.

Terry Ismay, cub scout leader, told the Leader: “We were given the trees by The Woodland Trust and because a number of the cub scouts attend Eastfield we thought it would be a good idea to donate them to the school.”

The trees will be planted in the school’s newly-created woodland area which also has a pond.
