Students at Lisa Meanwell’s Elite Academy of Dance based in Louth have aced their latest set of dance examinations, with a pass rate of 100 per cent students gaining marks as high as 90 per cent.

The dance school, which practices at The Meridian Leisure Centre, had youngsters take exams in Ballet, Acro, Street Dance and Cheer leading.

Principal of the dance school Miss Lisa commented: “The students put on a small performance for family and friends last week, so they could see exactly what their children have been busy working on.

“I am so proud of all my students here at Elite and they all have done amazingly in their exams. They were presented with their certificates and awards by myself and dance teacher Miss Hannah.”

Students as young as four took their first set of exams, and five students won top marks, gaining 90 per cent. These students were Dacel Darnborough, Ruby Dixon, Katie Ormond, Ellie Barnes, and Michelle Scott. The students are now working on their next set of Tap and Modern Theatre exams.
