LOUTH Civic Trust held their annual Pride of Place awards at their AGM at the Conoco Rooms.

The top recipients were David Vesey for the renovation of the old swimming pool in Church Street, Lincs Design Consultancy for the new Cycle Mode bike shop in Pawnshop Passage, and JD Wetherspoon for the Joseph Morton pub.

Civic Trust chairman James Laverack said: “The standard this year was very high with several stand-out candidates.

“Thanks to Ian Harvey of Civic Voice who came from Liverpool to give a very interesting speech on conservation.”
