Clarriots Care - based just outside of Louth gave a special care-istmas donation of £200 to a Dementia café in the town.

The Trinity Centre in Louth has its very own ‘Memories Matter’ group which offers a range of fun and engaging activities.

It also gives both carers and individuals with Dementia a chance to digest information and advice and talk to others with similar problems.

The group is organised by Jayne Pegg who was one of our own Leader Pride Community Award winners just recently.

Ms Pegg commented: “I would very much like to thank Clarriots Care for the kind donation and wish them luck in their ventures.

“The work they do caring for the society – particularly our elderly – is very important.

“Our community needs more organisations like Clarriots Care.”

The money was used for the dementia groups Christmas Party.

The group which is run by local volunteers meet every Wednesday from 2pm – 4pm.

These regular meets improve wellbeing and reduce isolation for whole families.
