Louth Town Councillor Sue Locking has been voted as the new Deputy Mayor Elect by her fellow councillors with current Deputy Mayor Councillor Andrew Leonard expected to become the town’s new Mayor.

The pair is expected to be formally voted upon and sworn in to the role at the Annual Town Council Meeting on Friday May 16.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday May 13, the ‘Annual Town Meeting’ will be held as Sessions House in Eastgate, where a full report on what the council has achieved over the year will be presented to those in attendance. Members of the public will also be able to raise issues to be discussed by the council at future meetings.
