THE organisers of the Victorian Family Fayre are asking people to dress up in period costume for the day on Sunday October 23.
Patrick Neville, the Louth Town Partnership’s events leader for the fayre, said: “Now’s the time to start thinking about what you can wear. It doesn’t have to be elaborate or expensive, just imaginative and reasonably authentic.
“There are plenty of ideas on the net while a visit to the library could also help. It might also be worth browsing around Louth’s charity shops for a hat or scarf.
“We’ll be awarding prizes for the best adult and best children’s costume.”
A prize will also be given for the best stall.
If you can help on the day call Town Manager Ali Hall on 07917 628149.
