Staff and students at Linkage College, the Lincolnshire charity and college for learning disabled people, are celebrating after Ofsted inspectors declared that outcomes for students are outstanding.
Linkage’s first Ofsted inspection under its new Common Inspection Framework, with inspectors finding the college to be first in the country for having outstanding outcomes.
Linkage run services across the county, including Louth and Mablethorpe, and the inspection team praised the quality of teaching, learning and assessment and the effectiveness of leadership and management, judging both to be good.
Linkage College principal Matthew Orford said: “This is a brilliant result and we’re very proud of the formal acknowledgement by Ofsted that students leave Linkage College with outstanding outcomes following their programmes with us.
“I pay tribute to the whole staff team at the college, and to our colleagues within the wider organisation of Linkage Community Trust, for their hard work and dedication in supporting our learners and in helping us achieve this outcome.”
