CARE guidance and support for children were among the strengths highlighed by the recent Ofsted report at Mablethorpe Primary School.
The report stated that the school ‘places a high and successful priority on taking good care of pupils’.
It was also recognised that nursery and reception provision gave pupils a good start to their education.
It was highlighted though that faster progress needs to be made in raising attainment in reading, writing and maths but said teachers ‘know what they want to do to improve the school’ and acknowledged that changes had already been made and were beginning to work.
A successful meeting held recently saw staff, Governors and parents offer ideas for a school action plan to ensure pupils receive the best life chances.
