Signals training for KEVIS cadets

King Edward VI Grammar School CCF had a weekend of signals training organised by LT Mathew Tuck and Cadet Instructors C/SGT T Zukowskyj, Emile Ramsay and Sam Harrison.

They learnt how to asemble a radio.

Cadets taking part were Sam Poppleton, Alfred Vickers, Holly King, Will Brewer, Robert Lynam, Reuben Copinger, Emily Webster, Clare Ballantyne, Penny and Polly Appleton and Sarah Pilcher.

In a HF competition, Exercise Thunderclap, cadets used and observed the Cadet National Radio Net, this was the first time the KEVIS CCF Contingent have participated in this.

Finally the Test arrived, and 11 cadets passed successfully.
