Monks’ Dyke Tennyson College students from the Louth and Mablethorpe campuses were delighted to recently take part in the 2014 World Challenge in Asia. Students embarked on a month long journey to Thailand and Cambodia, delivering key educational and practical support to remote communities. Much to their surprise prior to their flight out from Heathrow Airport, they bumped into Linford Christie who is also pictured above.

Mike Eyre, principle of MDTC, said: “I am extremely proud of the participation of MDTC students. This global scheme is designed to develop teamwork, leadership and social skills for the students preparation for adult life. It also enhances their employment prospects.”
