The results are now in for all of the Louth area candidates who will take their seats on Lincolnshire County Council for the next four years.

The results are as follows:

LOUTH WOLDS WARD

Elected: Hugo Marfleet (The Conservative Party) with 1,193 votes.

2nd: Brian Burnett (Lincolnshire Independent) with 586 votes.

3rd: Michael Preen (Labour Party) with 273 votes.

4th: John Hattersley (British National Party) with 176 votes.

LOUTH SOUTH WARD

Elected: John Hough (Labour Party) with 1,002 votes.

2nd: Jill Makinson-Sanders (Independent) with 651 votes.

3rd: David Axton (UK Independent Party) with 424 votes.

4th: Daniel Turner (The Conservative Party) with 390 votes.

LOUTH RURAL NORTH WARD

Elected: Tony Bridges (The Conservative Party) with 783 votes.

2nd: Edward Mossop (Lincolnshire Independent) with 555 votes.

3rd: Laura Stephenson (Labour Party) with 298 votes.

4th: Jean Johnson (Independent) with 273 votes.

LOUTH NORTH WARD

Elected: Sarah Dodds (Labour Party) with 857 votes.

2nd: Pauline Watson (The Conservative Party) with 534 votes.

3rd: Mike Beecham (UK Independent Party) with 278 votes.

4th: Daniel Simpson (Lincolnshire Independents) with 118 votes,

5th: Dave Dobbie (Liberal Demmocrat) with 42 votes.

LOUTH MARSH WARD

Elected: Daniel McNally (UK Independent Party) with 976 votes.

2nd: Robert Palmer (The Conservative Party) with 784 votes.

3rd: Terry Knowles (Independent) with 519 votes.

4th: Stuart Jameson (Labour Party) with 269 votes.
