To coincide with Independent Venue Week, The Pump House Recording Studio hosted its first live music event with critically acclaimed folk artist Peter Bruntnell, known as “England’s best kept musical secret”.

The gig, on January 31, featured local singer David Amey and celebrated the completion of a new stage area at the studio, which opened last year.

“This is about helping the Louth’s musical identity”, said Pump House owner Tom Milner.

“We’ve received a fantastic response from the public recently and I’m hopeful that the studio will continue to attract top names for all live music fans”.
