Louth was buzzing to the sound of bees on Saturday as its Festival of Bees kicked off with a family fun day at Spout Yard Park.
Despite a chilly day, plenty of people went along to see what was happening and there was lots to see and do.
As well as music from Lacey gardens pupils, there was a treasure hunt, competitions, stalls and even owls and eagles from Rushmoor Country Park.
The event was officially opened by Louth’s new mayor, Councillor David Wing, in his first official event in the role.
